Zen Bathroom Transformation

Originally this master bath was a sterile white environment – not inspiring or personal in any way, and certainly not befitting the master bath in a new home for the homeowner... the exotic and subtley tropical spa transformation was accomplished by deepening the color on the floor with a deep golden travertine, then fossilized limestone was added to the shower and tub surround. A unique green/black/beige granite was installed on countertops and around the bathrub…and a marble stone, ceramic, and metal tile liner (that the homeowner customized himself) was chosen to line the perimeter of the bathing areas and tie in with the countertops. New fixtures and a seamless shower enclosure spell "tropical zen spa".
